Easiest Keto Diet Recipes: Broiled Salmon

Salmon is an excellent weight loss food, keto diet or not. It contains omega-3 fatty acids. They help speed up blood flow and help your body transport fat to be burned for energy. For this recipe, you’ll need:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp. grainy mustard
  • 2 cloves finally minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp. finely minced shallots
  • 2 tsp. chopped thyme leaves
  • 2 tsp. chopped rosemary
  • ½ lemon juice
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Lemon slices

To make this dish, start by heating your broiler. Then, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. While you wait for the broiler to heat up, mix up all the ingredients except for the lemon slices and some thyme. Put the mixture on the salmon, and broil them for about 7 minutes. Put on the lemon slices and thyme, and you’re done!

Easiest Keto Diet Recipes: Buffalo Skillet Chicken

One of the good things about the keto diet is that you definitely don’t need to give up meat or flavor. Here’s a recipe for a delicious buffalo chicken recipe, starting with the ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 c. buffalo sauce
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 8 slices muenster cheese
  • Fresh chopped chives

To make it, first put a large skillet on medium heat. Start by heating up the oil, then add the 4 chicken breasts. Add the garlic powder, salt, and pepper to each one, and cook for about 6 minutes per side. Take the chicken and put it on a plate. Using the same skillet, add in the butter and garlic for 1 minute. Next, add in the buffalo sauce and cayenne pepper. Add the chicken back in with 2 slices of muenster cheese on each piece. Put a lid on and wait for the cheese to melt. Simmer for 3 minutes, remove from heat, and add the chives on. Then you’re done! Happy cooking!
